Choosing the Right Rug

  • Living room: Allow at least the front legs of all seating to sit on the rug. A 200x300cm rug suits most lounges.
  • Dining room: Choose a rug large enough that chairs remain on the rug when pulled out — typically 60cm beyond the table on each side.
  • Bedroom: A rug that extends 50–60cm beyond each side of the bed creates a grounding effect without overpowering the space.
