Due to the nature of messmate wood, strong grain patterns and characteristics are to be expected. Messmate varies in colour, ranging from pale browns and peach to light yellows, while the sapwood is a pale yellow to pale brown. This blend creates a warm and rich exterior that is unique and cannot be replicated across products. The unique imperfections, markings and colouring are not inconsistencies and should be appreciated.
